Snow...In March.

The community of Lake Anne was blanketed in snow on Monday March 25th, five days after the official first day of spring.

The beautiful flowers, plants and shrubs all waiting to bloom, are delayed a little bit longer this year.

Washington & Old Dominion Railroad Book Signing.

David Guillaudeu, author of "Images of Rail; Washington & Old Dominion Railroad", signed copies of his book at the Reston Museum Saturday afternoon. Guillaudeu spent over 40 years collecting photos and information about the historic railroad that is known today as the W&OD Trail. 

An intriguing and insightful read, the book provides a spectacular stroll down memory lane through maps, photos and accompanying text.

Freezing For A Reason...

Over 200 brave northern Virginian's took an icy dip in Lake Anne this afternoon at Lake Anne Plaza 

as part of the fifth annual Freezin' for a Reason. The event raises money for Camp Sunshine.
